\"image\"<\/a> When you are selecting partners, sometimes it’s nice to know their location in relation to the property location.\u00a0 ProUtil ZipDistance is the tool for the job. It displays a sorted lookup table of vendors by approximate air miles to that vendor.\u00a0 Double clicking on a vendor brings up a Browser window with live directions from the vendor to the property.<\/p>\n

It’s that simple. The window takes a few seconds to select the records, the vendor’s address is the A pointer, with Property Address as B. ProUtil ZipDistance automatically adjusts for sparsely covered regions of the country. By default the search range is about 150 miles, if nobody is found in that area, the range is expanded to over 1000 miles. In this example ProUtil ZipDistance is talking to a user defined lookup table in the USRxxVAL section of ProForm for Windows Classic.<\/p>\n

What’s it cost?<\/h1>\n

Usually it’s under a grand. To receive a three figure estimate for the lookup table you wish to sort we need a little information about the lookup table SoftPro<\/a> is using.<\/p>\n

Capture the text in a lookup table definition as well as the table name.\u00a0 A few rows of table data is nice also, even if just a screen shot. If User Defined fields are used, table data is a necessity.<\/p>\n

ProUtil ZipDistance will be customized to your SoftPro<\/a> System.\u00a0 It is currently available for ProForm Classic running a SQL database.\u00a0 If you run the Access MDB databases we’ll be into 4 digit numbers, but not far.\u00a0 Other than the distance column you will get to define the columns and their order during the implementation process.\u00a0 In the future you will easily be able to move the system to a new Sql Server.\u00a0 Column updates will require custom modifications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
