I built this cradle for our first born, it was taken from plans I found on the internet which was for a smaller almost doll sized cradle. I wanted one my daughter could keep for a while, this one has a standard 18 x 36" bed.
It's built to tear apart, currently it's in the wood shop stored in a stack about 12" high
Unbolt the top hinge, pop out the wood pins and unscrew the sides from the rails and the cradle breaks down into 8 pieces. It's built out of oak with a hand rubbed safe oil finish.
It is based on a Woodsmith Magazine project, and This guy's pictures.
