The conference has expanded to 4 tracks this year. Classic, Select Boot Camp, Select Optimization, and Select Engineer Forum. The Classic track which covers both Standard and Enterprise is an excellent place to bring new managers up to speed on the platform while giving a peek into the future.
Select is clearly the title software of choice in 2017. The Select Boot camp track will nicely cover end user operations. It is similar to having an on-site trainer for a couple days. You'll start with a blank file, and run the title and closing process from start to finish. The first visit to Boot Camp will show the moderately experienced user a few new things, and open their mind to how Select can work for them. New users get it all, they will learn plenty of worthwhile bits of information. Return attendees always pick up a few things or make a couple excellent contacts.
The Select Optimization Track is designed for both those who manage the platform and anyone who thinks about the closing process. To pick one thing, even if you'll never make a formula, knowing how they work will help you make better business decisions. There is a 2 hour session on the new exciting Automation feature. Have you ever wanted to order a CPL automatically? I'm expecting the Automation Class to blow your mind. Be sure to attend the Roundtable where ideas percolate.
I'll be in the Select Engineer Forum. Here we learn not only how the sausage gets made, but we'll get to make it. It is designed for the Select Developer, with emphasis on C# development. Of course SQL well be on the table as well as some Python. There's an Automation class in this track which will go into how that all comes together.
It will be hard to pick a best new feature this year as one of the other classes in the Engineer Forum is HTML ReadyDoc Design and Development. Now that might not sound exciting, but trust me it is. Think lightning speed document generation. HTML ReadyDocs will change a processers life a long way for the better. Select is turning into an unstoppable force in the industry. Based with intelligent design it fits and melds nicely to all sizes of title agencies.
