New Guide on Closing Disclosure Forms
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has released a new guide to for the new forms. This one weighs in at a scant 96 pages. It covers the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms very well. SoftPro Users Conference 2014

Ohio Online Records, no fees
Mike DeWine, Attorney General of Ohio released an opinion prohibiting fees charged by counties for the viewing of online public records. It says, if a county auditor makes a public record available for inspection, they may not charge a fee to make them available on a county website.
Closing Disclosure Final Rule Examination
I created a tool that is in it's infancy, really an alpha release, but it's cool and it may help you review this important information in a new cool way. I took the final rule and parsed it into a linkable database, then hooked that up to an image of the closing disclosure. It's OUT! The Final CFPB Disclosure has been released. Implementation deadline is August 1, 2015. That is a reasonable amount of time, so sit back, relax and read the 1888 pages. The Closing Disclosure and Loan Estimate are also there.
