Fixing ProForm Classic SQL PFWIN-028
Recently a client upgraded their ProForm Classic Standard installation from MDB to SQL. They have a terminal Server which wasn’t included in the update as only IT people use it. ProForm was coming up saying it could not find a unknown file relating to the databases, the error was PFWIN-028. Looking at the information in odbcad32.exe 32 bit or 64 bit showed no visible issues.

How to overlay data into a ProForm file for Prompts Dialog items
Sometimes we get new documents which require the same default information to be put in the Prompts Dialog of ProForm Classic. (Standard or Enterprise) The Default template can be used to fill out those new items on new files, but what do you do with the files in the pipeline. After proper priming, SoftPro defined Prompts can be filled out from a .PXT overlay file.
Outlook 2010 autocomplete list nickname .nk2 is gone
Outlook 2010 took the old *.nk2 files and stuffed them into a cache which is a hidden mailbox message. That all sounded good to me, the nk2 files were a pain, I looked forward to a slick management interface in EMC or at least the EMS. None was to be found, but there is a way, albeit slow processing the whole process takes a few minutes on a slow computer.
